Topics
These topics cover the training scope of CSAT. Open a topic for study guidance and worked examples.
1
Algorithm and complexityAlgorithms & Complexity
Study this topic →Search, recursion, growth rates and reasoning training given simple rules; professional algorithms whose definitions are not provided are not required.
2
Logic and proofLogic & Proof
Study this topic →Statements, counterexamples, induction, invariants and rigorous argument.
3
Combinatorial countingCombinatorics
Study this topic →Counting, the pigeonhole principle, recursion and probabilistic thinking.
4
Graphs and networksGraphs & Networks
Study this topic →Training in rule-based path, tree and network reasoning as specified in the question; this is not a verified complete set of current CSAT knowledge requirements.
5
Modelling and discrete structuresModelling & Discrete Structures
Study this topic →Formalise an unfamiliar situation, choose a representation and test boundary cases.
